We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness, excellent standard of cleanliness, comfortable bed, and the hosts' knowledge about the surrounding area. The location was fantastic, with a range of restaurants and shops within a short walk. The cottage itself was wonderful, spacious yet cozy, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom had warm underfloor heating. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and the accommodation was dog-friendly. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to others.
Couldn't fault.

We had a wonderful time staying at this charming cottage. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing us to cook our own meals easily. The bed was comfortable, and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We also appreciated that it was dog-friendly, as we were able to bring our furry friend along. The hosts were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, providing us with helpful tips on the best beaches and walks nearby. They were also very considerate, giving us the privacy we desired despite the cottage being overlooked by their own home. a lovely and quirky little place with everything we needed for a memorable stay.
The only minor issue we encountered was the shower being placed over a rolled top bath without any space to put our shower gel and shampoo. Additionally, the floor got quite wet, making it a bit precarious for us to get out of the shower safely.

The warm underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real treat, especially during those chilly mornings. The upstairs area was a great space to relax and soak up the early sun, I even managed to squeeze in my morning workout routine. The kitchen was well-equipped with quality pots, pans, china, and cutlery, making cooking a breeze.
The slightly tricky balancing act in the narrow base of the roll-top bath when using the shower. It might pose some challenges for older individuals or those with mobility difficulties.

The cottage itself was beautifully presented and had a unique charm. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing us to prepare meals easily. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was also ideal, close to a vibrant area with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful hosts, who provided valuable information about nearby beaches and walks.
While the shower was good, it was placed over a rolled-top bath with no space to place shower products, making it a bit inconvenient. The proximity and view of the cottage to the hosts' own home also made us feel a bit uncomfortable and lacking in privacy.

the cottage had such lovely bespoke quirky features and the layout worked perfectly for us, especially with our teenage son. He had his own space upstairs with a sofa bed and TV, giving him the privacy he wanted. the warm underfloor heating in the bathroom was a luxurious touch and the kitchen was outstanding, stocked with high-quality pots, pans, china, and cutlery. the attention to detail in the decoration was beautiful, making the cottage a cozy and enjoyable place to be, even when the weather wasn't great. the location was fantastic, just a short stroll from the picturesque harbour in Charlestown, with its range of restaurants and individual shops. the hosts were great too, making us feel at home and providing everything we needed for a wonderful break. We can't wait to return one day!
Nothing to mention. 👍.

The bathroom at this Grade 2 listed cottage is truly something special. Picture this: a rainfall shower cascading down over a freestanding bath, all inside a stylish wet room with a heated floor. It's like showering in the rainforest, but without the pesky bugs!
Tricky front door unlock.

The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a game-changer, making those cold winter mornings much more bearable. And having an upstairs area to relax in the morning, with sunlight streaming in, was a lovely way to start the day. The kitchen was well equipped with high-quality pots, pans, china, and cutlery, making cooking a breeze. Plus, the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and a peaceful atmosphere that allowed for a truly relaxing stay.
While the minor issue of the front door being tricky to unlock was a bit frustrating, it didn't overshadow the overall excellent accommodation and enjoyable atmosphere. The only real downside was the bath in the shower room, which could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

Great location in a charming port village with bars and restaurants nearby. Welcoming owners who provided everything needed for a comfortable stay, including safety gates and a booster dining chair. The cottage was tastefully decorated and had a cozy layout, with a separate space for our teenage son. The kitchen was well-equipped and the WiFi was reliable. Planning to return.
